It was originally built in 1903 to hold the workers who labored on a local farm. In the 1940s is was converted to a duplex. We purchased the duplex in 2001 and completely renovated it from 2001-2004. Kaya, our oldest daughter, was born while we lived in the duplex...so we decided to name it after her. Thanks for visiting our blog to learn more about our duplex!
The laundry room has plenty of room for a side by side washer and dryer. There is also plenty of cabinets just around the corner (you can't see them from this angle). The window shows the garden area outside.
