It was originally built in 1903 to hold the workers who labored on a local farm. In the 1940s is was converted to a duplex. We purchased the duplex in 2001 and completely renovated it from 2001-2004. Kaya, our oldest daughter, was born while we lived in the duplex...so we decided to name it after her. Thanks for visiting our blog to learn more about our duplex!
The front porch is a favorite spot during the summer...many summer evenings are spent outside watching the kids play and, of course, eating ice cream.
